Line monitor log grows indefinitely

In looking through some of my recent backups, I discovered that the line monitor log is now up to 25mb and contains data more than a year old. I can't envision needing more than a couple of weeks of this info (if that). Maybe Caller ID could set a limit on how much of this info it keeps (similar to the way the Activity Log is limited) and automatically prune it now and then?

Hi Bob,

You're right, of course. The Line Monitor is only saved to a file in beta versions, for debug purposes, but a lot of people (including myself) run beta versions most of the time.

The next beta version will, by default, only keep up to 1MB of Line Monitor log in the file. You will be able to change this using settings accessed from the Line Monitor window. Check the next beta notes for details.
