When a call is received, it speaks the name and phone number. Is it possible to have it speak only the name? I checked the options and couldn't see it... that's not saying it's not there.

Yes. This is very easy. We need to change the action used for incoming calls. Assuming you haven't changed it, this would be the action named "Default".
  • 1. Click the "Actions" tab in the main window
    2. Right-click on the action named "Default" and select "Edit Action"
    3. In the "Edit Action" window, click the "Speak" tab
    4. Change the spoken text in the edit box (under "Enable") to

    Code: Select all

    Call from {Name}
    5. Click OK to save the change and close the window
You can test the action by right-clicking on it and selecting "Test Action".
