I would like to know if your caller id can automatically go to the number lookup website when a call is received

Hello nailwood,

Yes, Ascendis Caller ID can automatically go to a phone number lookup website when a call comes in. To do this:
1) Click the "Categories" tab in Ascendis Caller ID
2) Right-click the "Default" category and select "Edit Category"
3) Make sure "Easy" is selected for "Action"
4) Click the "Run Program" tab
5) Put a check mark in the "Enable" check box
6) Paste the following into the "Program" box:

7) Click OK to save the changes and close the window

Now when a call comes Ascendis Caller ID will open a page in your browser to whitepages.com and look up the caller's phone number.

You can of course use a different URL in step 6. Remember to include the phone number macro {Number} or whatever is appropriate for the website you're using.
