USRobotics external 56k modem

Are these modems supported by the Ascendis software. I only receive "No caller information" when the phone rings. I did the repair and the program repaired the modem to accept calls.

Hello,
The US Robotics USR5686E should work with Ascendis Caller ID. I can't say that all US Robotics external 56K modems will work, but I think it's likely yours will.
When you tried the "Repair Modem" feature, did it indicate whether caller information was received? If so, then Ascendis Caller ID can be made to work with it. The easiest solution is probably for you to send a Technical Support Report (found on the Help menu) to support at ascendis dot com after a phone call comes in while Ascendis Caller ID is running. I'll have a look and tell you what settings to change, or I'll send a registry patch.
