If you have a specific repeatable case where this happens, please let me know the details. In tests here, it works fine in Vista. "Paste Registration" is harder to use in general because you must make sure you select and copy the complete registration. Some mail programs wrap the registration or otherwise change it too much. That's why we also provide the registration as an attachment.

I saved the attachment with the registration information.
Then I opened the attachment in notepad and used "Ctrl+A" and "Ctrl+C".
And when I pressed the button for "Paste registration" a dialog came up and said "Could not find the registration on the clipboard. Please re-select the registration text, copy it to the clipboard, and try again".
I tried both the registration manager and the choice under help.

This is not a big issue since it can be done in other ways.

I tried the exact same thing, and it worked.

Are you sure the registration used when it failed was a new registration for version 2? Older registrations for version 1 may not work, depending on the purchase date, but the message is the same.
