VOIP Phone Adapters

As mentioned in other topics, Ascendis Caller ID works well with VoicePulse and Vonage VOIP services. We believe that the phone adapter is the key component in VOIP as far as caller id goes. The phone adapter is the device that connects to the internet on one side and telephone devices on the other side.
Even though some phone adapters provide caller id suitable for caller id boxes and caller id phones, they may not work as well with modems. Modems are typically pickier when it comes to recognizing and reporting caller id information.
We have had good luck using a Sipura SPA-2000 phone adapter with VoicePulse VOIP service.
Please use this topic for reporting success or failure with VOIP adapters, as it would help other users considering VOIP. Please also mention the VOIP service being used with the adapter.
