MLX-82

Was curious if the software is compatible with a TCI MLX-82.
I see a lot of info on PC based modems and nothing on any RS232 based PBX type devices.

Thanks

Hi Nstnthi,

At this time Ascendis Caller ID only supports TAPI devices, and, as far as I can tell, TAPI support is not available for the TCI MLX-82. So, I'm afraid the answer is no, unless, perhaps, the TCI MLX-82 is routed through a TAPI-supported PBX.

I have tested it with Elmeg PBX, Seimens and Nortel's BCM (as sold by BT and Datasharp)
Have used a ISDN on a SO port just for logging into Call manager when a system did not have a tapi interface all you need to do is put the SO onto the same call group as the lines to be monitored. The SO is only for logging. I have also used this card for a voice mail which works fine with call manager
