This release hasn't acted up once Bill. Perhaps my issue with .37 was closer to what you were working on than first thought. The Composite device has stayed 'intact' since the update to .39.

Sounds like the same thing I was seeing with .37. Here's the comment I posted then: "I installed beta .37 over top of .36 and immediately noted that every incoming call is being logged twice. If I watch the notification box pop open when the phone rings I see it happening, a very brief display ...

"- attempted fix for composite devices sometimes being handled as separate devices"

Hi Bill,

So it wasn't just me a couple of revisions ago? I remember seeing the composite device configuration acting up when it I'd get the duplicate call display.

Disregard this one Bill, I reinstalled beta .37 tonight and it's working normally without me doing anything different. I'll keep an eye on it and if that changes I'll let you know.

Cheers and best of the season!

I'll submit a technical report in the next few days Bill. In the meantime, the devices here are the same IP-connected Whozz Calling POS box and a single Zoom 3095 USB modem that I've been using since I first tested composite configurations with you 5 years ago, on the same Windows 7 PC as a matter o...

Two entries per incoming call

Hi Bill, I installed beta .37 over top of .36 and immediately noted that every incoming call is being logged twice. If I watch the notification box pop open when the phone rings I see it happening, a very brief display of the call, a split-second blank of the data, then the same data is displayed ag...

V 3.0 Betas?

Hi Bill,

I'm really surprised to see there's been no activity here since the October 14th release of Version 3. Is that the end of the line for development? I thought a beta or support forum for 3.0 would have been established in the days or weeks following the release.

Cheers!

Way off-topic I know but I just wanted to thank Bill and all the other members here for another great year of support for the Ascendis product and to say Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a wonderful 2011.

Cheers to All!

I've installed the Keyspan adapter on a variety of devices and operating systems with zero problems, unlike many others I've tried. They seem to have compatibility and driver issues completely under control up to and including Windows 7 64 bit.

Cheers!

Using modem to hang-up w/Whozz Calling

Hi Bill, I know this is an old thread but can you elaborate on using a modem to hang up the line without showing duplicate calls? I'm interested in trying the process with one of the lines on our Whozz Calling box, and I'll just rearrange our registrations for the software to use both devices but on...

Thanks Bill, that gives me some options to get it very close to what we were used to with 1.x. Version 2 is working well so far!

Fonts in display window

Hi Bill, I just upgraded from 1.9 to the latest 2.0.1.1 beta release to see the differences/improvements and right out of the gate noticed that I can no longer set different font sizes/colours for the name and number fields in the display box. I've always had the name field larger than the number, a...

Network Client custom name data missing

Bill, In playing around with a PC via an internet connection to see how the remote client real time and polling method works I noted the following. If the remote client is set to real time display, the caller's name and number is displayed on the remote PC, and when I say name I mean the name as I'v...
